NGS Super — proud sponsors of Mother’s Day Classic 2022 and trophies
08 Feb 2022 2 min readIn its 25th anniversary year, the Mother’s Day Classic (MDC) is back to continue raising funds for the one in 7 women diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. In 2022, participants can choose from 3 different ways to join the cause, by walking or running at:
- major and metro events
- local events or
- their own time and place.
Whichever option you go with on Sunday 8 May, you’re actively helping the fight against breast cancer.
Here at NGS Super, the MDC is an event close to our hearts, with women making up around 70% of our membership. We’re in our second decade of sponsorship for the event, and our staff are excited — as always — to tie up their laces and get involved. This year, NGS Super has also sponsored the Largest School Team Trophy and the Highest Fundraising School Team Trophy. We think there’s no better way to show some healthy competition and encourage everyone to give it their all for this worthy cause.
The MDC has donated $39.95 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation since its first event in 1998. You can help push that figure over the $40 million line this year and contribute to life-saving research for a disease that affects our mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, and their families and communities.
