Our ESG Rising Star

We're delighted that NGS Super's Skye King, Manager, Investment Governance and Legal, was the winner of 2020's Michael O'Sullivan ESG Rising Star Award, announced by the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) in May.

The award identifies and acknowledges the next generation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) advocates in the superannuation industry. In the words of ACSI:

"Skye has been an outstanding contributor for ESG in her work, demonstrating a true passion and commitment towards ESG integration and providing a strong voice for the advancement of ESG principles within both her workplace and the sector at large for the future."

Skye had this to say about winning the award:

"Winning the Michael O'Sullivan ESG Rising Star Award is an honour. It has externally validated my commitment and work in the ESG and responsible investment sphere over the past 18 months, which is incredibly important to me. I am hopeful that the award will give a platform to further develop my expertise in the area and inspire others to get involved for the betterment of the industry."
