World Teachers’ Day – A message from our CEO

5 October is World Teachers’ Day. So today, NGS Super says thank you. We thank all the hardworking, passionate and driven teachers, educators, support staff, early educators — and home-schoolers.

Australian teachers have faced many challenges over the last couple of years, particularly in navigating the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the Industry SuperFund for those in non-government education, early education, care and community organisations, we’ve witnessed firsthand the commitment and perseverance of our members.

We’d like to make special mention of the way teachers have adapted to the sudden switches to remote learning. And we thank our casual teachers for their unwavering support and commitment to delivering excellent education.

Our next generation depends on the dedication of our educators, so we extend our gratitude and appreciation this World Teacher’s Day — and hope you’ll join us in thanking the teachers you know.
